The Space

Large windows frame the lush greenery of the Elgin Valley, bringing the outside into a living area defined by high, wood-planked ceilings and a striking black freestanding fireplace. The apartment blends character charm with functional design, featuring a loft bedroom tucked under the eaves and a modern kitchen with dark granite countertops and a breakfast bar. Stone-tiled floors run throughout the ground level, leading to a bathroom finished with double stone basins and a walk-in shower with a pebble-floor detail.

The Experience

Whether you are here for a focused work sprint or a creative retreat, the space is well-equipped for long-term productivity. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine, and a full range of appliances to make daily life easy. When the workday ends, step out onto the terrace to enjoy the mountain views or head down to the 12,000m² garden. You have access to a pool and gym on-site, and the indoor fireplace makes the living room a warm spot for evenings spent with the provided board games. This is a pet-friendly home, so your animals are welcome to enjoy the garden and riverside setting alongside you.

The Neighbourhood

Located in a quiet, residential pocket of Grabouw, the property sits directly next to the river. Nature is the primary neighbour here, with parks and walking trails all within easy reach for a midday break. The Elgin Valley location offers a peaceful atmosphere that suits artists, creatives, and remote workers looking for a slower pace without sacrificing modern comforts like gated parking and a concierge. It is a reliable base for those who want to balance professional output with easy access to the outdoors.

It is the kind of spot where you can settle in, stay productive, and find your rhythm in the valley.
